Work Completed in 2016 & 2017 includes:
  • Land Work: Executed mining lease and acquired 96 Federal lode mining claims
  • Laboratory Analysis: Graphite assays for purity, flake size and dilution minerals
  • Resource Modeling: Developed a simple 3-D model of the target ore area
  • Technical Report: Exploration Target quantified by P.Eng. and P.Geo.
  • Plan of Operations: Obtained formal BLM approval of next stage of field work
Go-Forward Plans 2018 & 2019 includes:
  • Airborne VTEM survey
  • Drill core samples at multiple locations
  • Ground-based electromagnetic (EM) survey
  • Conduct additional metallurgical tests
  • Detailed surface geology survey mapping
  • Prepare conceptual mine design and PEA
  • Outcrop core and channel sampling
  • Supply test samples to potential customers
  • Qualified-Persons Technical Report
A Technical Report to substantiate the Exploration Target size has been prepared showing the extent of previous mining. Based on a simple model of the known outcrops and underground mineral occurrences, 12 to 102 Mt of graphite-bearing ore is projected. Target ore grade ranges from 3% to 15%, which is one of the highest grades known in North America. It is likely that some portions of the ore body are richer and some poorer in graphite content.

Note that an exploration target is not to be confused with a resource, as there is insufficient information available to estimate a mineral resource at this time. Furthermore, it is uncertain if future exploration of the target will result in the estimation of a mineral resource.
